The Delhi & District Chamber of Commerce annually awards and recognizes citizens who have gone above and beyond and making an impact for the organization but more importantly, they make an impact within our community.
The accomplishments are always of a volunteer nature and not for personal gain, part of someone’s job or academic program/course.
Honouring Community Impact
This nomination form outlines the information required to submit an application for review. The Chamber will base their decision on the information submitted, so please ensure the activities and contributions for the person you are nominating provide the necessary detail to allow the Chamber to make an informed award decision.

All nominations received will be reviewed by the Community Committee of the Chamber and will be ranked against the impact the individual makes to the organization(s) and the impact the individual makes to the community.

Business Awards
The business awards decided by the Board of Directors of the Chamber.
Business of the Year – A business running for more than 5 years demonstrating growth and innovation and support of the community in terms of employment, suppliers, collaboration with other local businesses, and contributions to the community.
Longstanding Business of the Year – A business running for more than 15 years demonstrating growth, leadership, and contributions to the community
Edward Jones Women in Business Achievement – A woman who has demonstrated exceptional leadership through vision, strategy, and strong decision-making skills. The woman owns or has led a business showing measurable growth in revenue, client base, or service offerings in the past 1-3 years, and has been in the position more than two years. There should be evidence of giving back to the community through philanthropy, volunteering, mentorship, or advocacy, for causes that support women, youth, or marginalized groups in society.
Entrepreneur of the Year – A person leading a business as an owner or senior manager who has primary responsibility for the recent business success and has been in the position for more than two years. There must be evidence of growth, a unique and compelling story, and a positive impact on the community.

Our vision is to provide Delhi & area youth with a $1000 scholarship as well as an apprenticeship.
Our goal is to encourage local businesses to support apprenticeship programs and keep students in the area to learn and eventually work.
